Last week we opened the first of four week long WALAN MAYINYGU Indigenous entrepreneurship Pop Up Hub programs in Dubbo NSW.
Nineteen presenters including eleven Indigenous entrepreneurs speaking on business topics from having a market orientation through to legal issues for small business and everything in between.
We engaged with some dedicated regionally based Indigenous business people and made a big impact on their strategy thinking and market positioning.
One of the most important messages I hope people will take from WALAN MAYINYGU is that regional location is not an inhibitor for success or innovation. The best example of this was the students engaged in our youth entrepreneurship program and the four new ‘apps’ pitched on the Wednesday afternoon!
The next Hub is in Albury NSW during the week of 9-13 October at the Library Museum building as the Hub base. Come and join in and support the program!
